Alex H. Vandenham is a graduate engineer with more than 30 years experience in the Canadian communications industry. That experience includes Local, Metropolitan and Wide Area voice and data networks, Private networks, VPNs, satellite systems, cable systems, and microwave radio, using MPLS, ATM, Frame Relay, ISDN, TCP/IP and X.25. Alex has extensive experience with secure data networking.
Activities and projects that have been undertaken by Alex Vandenham include network planning and design, planning and implementation of secure (virtual) private networks, systems development for WAN security, telecommunication project planning, technical feasibility assesments, and economic viability evaluations, as well as strategic planning for both communications systems and information systems. This experience has given him an excellent understanding of the capabilities of various communications systems, how those capabilities can best be applied to various communications requirements, and how to plan and manage telecommunication projects.
Alex Vandenham's background and experience has created particular strengths in resolving both technical and management issues in diverse telecommunication projects and he is able to communicate clearly and precisely with all levels of management ; a skill which complements his familiarity with telecommunication technology, data networks and information systems.
